Academics

Academics is one of our chapter's main focuses. While we hold our own weekly study hours for sisters on Monday's and Tuesday's, they are open to anyone. Being a Sigma Sigma Sigma, it is required to maintain a GPA of 2.5 by National's standards, and a 2.7 by Epsilon Iota's chapter standards. We feel it is necessary to acknowledge all Sigma's academics success; by doing so, we have multiple sisters who are inducted into the various Greek Honor Society's on campus such as Gamma Sigma Alpha, Order of Omega, which are both based on your GPA, and Phi Eta Sigma if you have a 3.5+ your first year of undergrad. We deem it necessary to acknowledge all of our Sigma Smarties. The Epsilon Iota chapter of Tri Sigma has the highest average GPA on campus when compared to our Panhellenic sisters.
