Sisterhood

When people ask why I am in a sorority and I try to explain all the things a sorority is that they cannot see, so many things come to mind. A sorority is more than just letters on a sweatshirt. It goes above and beyond singing traditional songs, knowing ritual, wearing a gold pin, and your obligation. Being a part of the sisterhood becomes a way of life. A sorority is learning about people, and giving without expecting anything in return. Being in this sisterhood means to earn respect from others, as well as for yourself. A sorority will not solve all your problems, but being a part of a beautiful sisterhood, you will have made good friends and found confidence to help take life one step at a time. As Tri Sigma likes to say, to receive much you must give much.
